Workshop Schedule
CaseWare Training classes typically begin at 8:30 a.m. and end at 5:00 p.m. with a one-hour break for lunch.
Program learning objectives for the in-house training option are similar to those of the Regional CaseWare Training courses. However, given the circumstances involved with in-house training (smaller class sizes, all attendees typically from the same firm, flexibility in scheduling, etc.), content can be customized to best suit the needs of those involved.
Upon completion of all the training, the users should be able to:
Working Papers - The Fundamentals
| • | Navigate Working Papers interface and create new files from client data and templates. | |||
| • | Import client data in an electronic format. | |||
| • | Create groupings and firm standard account properties and apply them to the accounts. | |||
| • | Create automated electronic working papers with firm standard account properties and utilize the paperless Document Manager. | |||
| • | Process a year-end close, clean-up and lock down the completed engagement. | |||
| • | Create a firm-standard mapping database and populate the mapping database with standardized account elements including: leadsheet groupings and tax export codes. | |||
| • | Setup security, including: staff members, user group security levels and assigning staff to the appropriate user group. | |||
| • | Utilizing the consolidation feature. | |||
| • | Navigate in CaseView’s Form and Design Modes comfortably. | |||
| • | Create styles for formatting purposes. | |||
| • | Create and apply appropriate properties for numeric, alpha-numeric, and date cells. | |||
| • | Insert and update a Knowledge Library Link. | |||
| • | Link data into cells using a variety of calculations and tools. | |||
| • | Create control cells and custom properties and refer logic conditions in the various areas of the application. | |||
| • | Create custom controls using menus, events and actions to control modifications of the document. | |||
