Staying ahead of the curve

We strive to stay ahead of the accounting technology curve by adopting and implementing what we consider to be the “best of breed” software for all functions of our office (content management, engagement management, compliance forms, time and billing, etc.).
Our pursuit of a paperless office began in 2001 when we decided to take a hard look at our processes for preparing financial documents for clients. Two fundamental realizations prompted our examination: our workpapers lacked consistency, and we were amassing a tremendous amount of documents.

We looked to CaseWare’s Working Papers and CaseView to resolve these issues. Because of CaseWare’s open design, we were able to take the software to new heights. As we continued to venture along the path of paperless technology, we assembled considerable knowledge about what technology is available and accumulated unique experience in developing, implementing and integrating a cutting edge system comprised of what we determine to be “best of breed” technology.

HKMP Technologies has received national recognition for our work in paperless technology area. We were the recipient of the Practical Accountant’s Practice Innovation Award for taking the lead in promoting new or improved services and for promoting efficiency in the practice of public accounting. We have been featured in several industry publications for our work in this field.
